环球各国目前都积极采取扩张性经济政策阻止经济出现严重衰退，法国将成立主权基金帮助本国企业共同度过难关，德国总理也准备著手加大财政支出应对经济衰退，日本预计可能运用25万亿日元刺激本国经济，而美国国会有可能已经著手制定第二轮经济刺激计画，中国政府亦加大财政支出刺激经济增长。现阶段难以估计各国经济刺激政策是否可以阻止经济衰退的步伐，亦无法计算需要多长时间经济才会出现复苏，但预期得到的是经济难以在短时间内明显改观，市场的悲观情绪可能还会持续一段时间。虽然美国经济状况恶劣，但是欧洲、日本以及其他一些国家的形势更差，因此非美货币难以在美元身上取得优势；相反，美国在今年大幅度减息后，今后的降息空间已经相对有限了，而其他主要国家则相形见更大之降息空间，降息预期的差异则支撑了目前的美元走势；再而美元走高吸引资金流入美元资产，对非美货币形成更大沽压。
