美联储主席耶伦表示，缩减债券购买并非立场退缩，但的确体现出就业市场取得一定进展。但其同时表示，在衡量就业市场条件上，兼职就业人数所给出的信息比失业率更糟，劳动市场迟缓遏制消费，对刺激措施的特别承诺需要维持一段时间，这个观点得到其他决策者的普遍认同，从某种程度上讲，当前的就业市场相比任何衰退时候都更严峻，美国经济仍然“远未达标”，需要一段时间才能达到美联储所希望的目标状态。许多美国人仍然认为经济复苏像衰退。

。美元指数周一(3month31day)收跌，结束之前连涨之势，原因是美联储(FED)主席耶伦称,旨在提振美国经济的购债计划和低利率举措将很可能在一段时间内继续执行。美联储主席耶伦(JanetYellen)Monday(3month31day)讲话的重点很清晰——就业市场较为疲软，宽松的货币政策仍有必要存在。耶伦同时表示，“美国经济和就业市场仍存在很多的闲置产能，正是这些闲置产能导致了劳动参与率的大幅下滑。”
耶伦指出，“削减QE并不意味着美联储将减少经济刺激政策的承诺，美国经济仍需要‘非常规政策’支持一段时间。”此前美元指数连续上扬，当时耶伦在美联储会议后的记者会上暗示，美联储可能较人们预期的提早结束购债计划，且早至2015年初升息的可能性。高级分析师陈子鸣认为耶伦此次讲话与前期讲话内容可以看出，耶伦有理想并且也希望自己能提振美国经济，但我们知道，说与做是两回事，虽然耶伦的理想很丰满，憧憬很美好，但是她也不得不暂时给自己之前讲的话泼一盆冷水，从这点完全可以看出目前美国的经济情况完全没有耶伦所讲的那么好，耶伦要想达到自己的理想与憧憬中的情况，还需要继续努力;thereforegold白银投资者在短期内也没有闭着眼睛去看空的理由，短期内建议可适当采取低位做多的思路。
