中东局势再度升温，伊朗军方警告将袭击海湾地区港口油轮，胡塞武装打击沙特能源设施，油价连涨两日。受油价上涨及上周就业数据超预期后，对美元加息可能性增加影响，美国国债收益率走高。据分析称，即使美联储下周不加息维持利率不变，估计美联储将在12月和明年3月出现两次加息。

伊朗军方称，针对美军对伊朗油轮及船只的侵略行径与恶意骚扰，伊军打击了搭载巡航导弹与“宙斯盾”系统的两架美军驱逐舰。并向停靠在科威特、巴林港口及锚地的所有油轮发出警告，要求撤离船只否则将成为打击目标。同时称，伊朗武装力量完全控制霍尔木兹海峡。

消息称，为报复伊朗连续袭击美国海军舰艇，美军对伊朗油轮、伊朗主要石油出口枢纽哈尔克岛发动新一轮打击。约旦武装部队称，过去数小时内遭到来自伊朗境内的导弹袭击。
