美元指数周三盘中冲高回落后，今日开盘涨至101.97附近，因市场对美联储今年晚些时候会降息持更加怀疑的态度，美元短线上行支撑。

市场目前仍然不能确定美国能否在夏末避免债务违约，因最新数据显示报税截止日流入财政部的现金不算可观。周二流入财政部的现金只有1084.7亿美元，道明证券策略师Gennadiy  Goldberg认为，这笔钱或许足够美国政府应付开支，但就算能过关也只是险胜。

昨日公布的数据显示，周二财政部的现金余额从一天前的1440.8Increase to 100 million US dollars2525.5亿美元。由于为避免突破31.4万亿美元债务上限而采取了数项特殊措施，财政部的银行账户最近一直承受下行压力，上周现金余额一度降至只有865.5亿美元。美国银行策略师上周写道，根据历史先例，财政部现金在报税截止日后增加2000亿美元以上属于强劲，如果不到1500亿美元属于疲软。

周三公布通胀报告显示，英国通胀相当持续高企并且没有出现放弃突破两位数的空间。食品价格通胀率已录得45年来的最高水平达到19.1%。劳动力短缺和能源危机是造成严重顽固通胀的主要原因。在欧元区方面，由于能源价格继续下滑，欧元区3月通胀率同比从8.5%lower6.9%。然而，与全球趋势一样，核心通胀率仍顽固地保持较高的粘性。核心消费者物价调和指数HICPYear-on-year increase5.7%，与最新数据和市场预期持平，欧洲央行(ECB)政策制定者担心高能源成本会传导到更广泛的经济领域。
