美国白宫表示，即将公布的通胀数据，可能反映通胀持续上升。白宫新闻秘书皮埃尔(Karine Jean-Pierre)向记者表示，数据将反映美国名义通胀率进一步扳升，是俄乌战事导致能源价格上涨的连锁反应。
“在今晚公布关键的美国CPI之前，本周市场几乎处于盘整模式，这可能会在9月之后对美联储产生重大影响，”SPI资产管理公司执行合伙人Stephen Innes说。本周黄金价格下跌了约0.3%。
