澳元兑美元周二早盘走低,因股市下跌,且一些交易商将美国联邦储备理事会(FED,Federal Reserve)主席贝南克的讲话解读为,美国短期内再次降息的几率减小.

贝南克称,若通膨压力上升,美联储已准备好扭转9月降息的利率调整方向,并指出,到目前为止抵押贷款市场危机还未波及到实体经济.
