昨日早盘，套息交易继续支持澳元/美元，而有关花旗银行等设立基金，以购买次级债的消息，助推套息交易，高息货币上扬，澳元升至23New Year High0.9077。但随后美股道指的大幅下跌令风险厌恶情绪增加，澳元/The US dollar has fallen0.9000整数关口，最低跌至0.8975。美股在尾盘阶段有所反弹，推动汇价回升至0.9005。虽然基本面以及商品市场对澳元的支撑作用仍在，但目前市场的焦点在套息交易，特别是主要股市对套息交易方向的影响。倾向澳元/美元继续上扬。汇价阻力位于0.9050、0.9090、0.9120, supported by0.8940、0.8900、0.8870。
