K线的中继组合主要的作用在表示行情还能继续沿着原来的方向运行，这样就是中继形态的含义：中继形态是那些预示着行情还能继续按原方向运行的形态，这样就为我们操作提供了下一步的参考方向，方向判定之后也就已经解决了操作中的首个关键问题。

一、跳空缺口回补


跳空缺口在foreign exchange、gold市场比较少见，相信有一定交易经验的投资者甚至能背诵出过去几年哪几次行情出现了明显的跳空。


这里需要特别说明一点的是：如果外汇、黄金市场出现跳空，周末肯定有非常重大的消息发生，否则就不太可能出现跳空。比如某某会议出现重大意外决议；国际大型战争发生重大变化；政治局势发生意外变化等等。


在行情走势中发生跳空缺口之后，汇价、金价的常见走势方式是（以上涨过程中的向上跳空为例）：向上跳空，运行一段走势，逐步回落调整，回落的幅度基本是回到跳空缺口的下沿附近，即恢复向上运行，所以能产生让我们继续顺势买入的机会。


对于上涨过程中的向下跳空，则不一定是利空信号，特别是在外汇、黄金市场，这往往是直接买入的机会，当然仍然需要控制好风险。这种方法在股票、futures市场不一定适用，需要具体问题具体分析。


二、上升三法，下降三法


上升三法是一种比较强劲的上涨中继k线组合，其内在结构与我们后面会学到的旗形上涨中继有些类似，比如在日线图上发现上升三法的走势，这个时候拿到小时图上则可能发现旗形上升中继的图形。


上升三法的判别标准：


A、汇价、金价在上升趋势当中，上升三法一般由5rootk线构成，第一根k线为比较大的阳线实体。


B、接下来一次出现连续下落调整的3根小阴线（有时候会多1-2根，也可接受），但这三根阴线都保持在第一根阳线的价格范围内（包括影线）。


C、第五根k线再次收阳，并收盘向上越过第一根k线的收盘价。
