纽约联储主席威廉姆斯在旧金山美联储亚洲经济政策会议上发表讲话时称，经济状况良好，货币政策也是如此。预计GDP会适度增长，劳动力市场保持强劲，通胀率将回到我们的2%对称性目标。不过其警告称，即使贸易紧张局势在未来几周内得到某种解决，企业仍将继续面临不确定性。美联储不想受困于日常起落和贸易政策的频繁变动。
