1、多头：指投资者对黄金市场看好，预计价格将会上涨，于是先买入合约，若行情如预期中上扬，当到达某一价位时再将合约卖出平仓，以获取差额收益。 
2、空头：指投资者对黄金市场看淡，预测金价将下跌，于是先卖出合约，待价格如预期中下跌至某一价位时再将合约买进平仓，从而获取差额利润。 
3、开高：今日开盘价在昨日收盘价之上。
4、开平：今日开盘价与昨日收盘价持平。 
5、开低：今日开盘价在昨日收盘价之下。 
6、趋势：市场价格在一段时间内朝同一方向运动，即为趋势。 
7、涨势：市场价格在一段时间内不断朝新高价方向移动。 
8、跌势：市场价格在一段时间内不断朝新低价方向移动。 
9、盘整：市场价格在有限幅度内波动，无明显的上涨或下跌趋势。  
   10、超买：指市场上黄金价格持续上升到一定高度，买方力量基本用尽，黄金价格即将下跌。 
11、超卖：指市场上黄金价格持续下跌到一定低点，卖方力量基本用尽，黄金价格即将上扬。
