 因此共和党的核心观点就是：解除对油气开采的限制，在联邦范围内随意开采能源，同时完全放开能源贸易。因此美国油气行业对于特朗普颇为支持。 

 希拉里阵营则强调从保护美国环境的角度出发，不明确支持扩大油气行业生产，反对在北冰洋和大西洋钻井生产。同时将美国未来的能源重心转为清洁能源。 

 从大选双方的观点来看，特朗普阵营扩大美国的能源生产势必会让国际原油市场面临更严重的供应过剩危机，从而导致油价下跌。希拉里阵营虽然反对扩大油气行业生产，但是加大清洁能源的开发会让整个国际原油行业面临危机。
