美国财政部宣布将回购最多60亿美元长债。此前美国财政部表示，在11month4日之前，单次长债回购规模将至少翻倍至40USD100mn

世界黄金协会报告显示，全球黄金ETFstay8月吸引了180亿美元的资金流入，创下历史第二大单月流入纪录，推动总资产管理规模升至6150亿美元，持仓量达到4189吨的历史新高。

特朗普签署命令，禁止多种加拿大乳制品、酒类和摩托车进入美国，并下令将加拿大企业踢出美国政府采购体系。同时调整了部分针对加拿大商品的50%关税，关税调整将于9month15日生效，贸易禁令则从9month29日开始实施。
