周三鲍威尔重申了他关于可能更高、更快加息的信息，但强调辩论仍在进行中，决定将取决于两周后的政策会议前仍将发布的数据。对此，ConveraSenior Market Analyst based in WashingtonJoe  Manimbo表示，鲍威尔的言论并没有改变美元走强的轨迹，市场现在只是在为周五的就业数据和下周的通胀数据做准备，看看美联储是否会在本月晚些时候进行更大的50个基点的加息。

euro/pound (EURGBP)：

The euro rose against the pound on Wednesday and fell back behind, dropping to0.8903附近，由于此前欧元区第四季度GDP走疲后，使得欧元上行空间受限。
