根据芝加哥商品交易所的“联储观察”工具，在上周飙升至80%的高位后，美联储在下周的政策会议上加息100个基点的预期维持在30%左右，美指之前两个交易日跌幅均超过0.5%，这减缓了黄金跌势。
由于市场对美联储更积极收紧政策的担忧有所缓解，美元汇率正持续修正性下跌。美联储不那么激进的加息路径可能有助于美国经济避免衰退。在美联储静默期间，黄金价格将继续受到大环境情绪的影响。
但全球最大的黄金上市交易基金——SPDR Gold Trust——周一表示，其持仓量下降0.5%to1009.06Tons, for1月底以来的最低水平。尽管黄金被视为通胀对冲工具，但较高的利率会提高持有非孳息资产黄金的机会成本。
道明证券的策略师预计，金价将继续下跌，“黄金价格已经越过趋势逆转门槛，这标志着金市确认暂时进入熊市交易机制。虽然美联储本月加息100个基点的预期下降，增加了短期内轧空风险，但这也将为进一步下行创造理想条件……美联储无法回避棘手的通胀问题，美元将继续稳坐货币王位。”
市场参与者现在预计，美联储将在7month26Solstice27日的会议上加息75个基点。欧洲央行和日本央行将于本周四(7month21day)开会。外界普遍预计欧洲央行将加息25个基点。但日本央行将继续其鸽派基调，并将讨论如何向经济注入流动性以刺激总需求。
高通胀给公司盈利带来压力，并影响家庭收入。然而，随着6月份油价下跌和家庭耐用品需求减少，需求价格机制失衡将得到缓解，价格压力将很快见顶。乐观的零售销售和其他需求指标更多地受到价格压力而不是家庭总需求的推动。因此，需求端数量规模减少将压低通胀率。
Technical analysis of gold:
黄金日内先震荡回弹，欧盘时段上方测压至1723/24一线，虽然对前期交易低点有刺破，但并未能成功拿下站稳，这也就说明当前市场多头的实际动能还是欠缺的，在强势美元的打压下，多头信心显得不是很足。欧盘时段黄金承压回修，目前行情再跌回至1710附近，虽然市场表现出的状态是多头信心和实际动能不是很强，但技术上已经体现出反弹趋向，所以目前的回撤反倒可以给操作上带来一些机会。
黄金下方先关注1710-07一带短线支撑测试，只要今日行情能够稳住或收于1710上方，那么技术角度就还是有回弹预期的，只不过受市场对美联储加息预期的影响，多头回弹信心会受到打压，未来回弹空间也就不会很大，对此需要多加留心注意。晚间上方则依旧先关注1720-22一带压力，站稳之上则短线下跌风险基本解除，但还能够带来多少回升空间，还是得要参考美指回修幅度。综上所述，今日黄金操作思路上指南金师建议回调做多为主，反弹做空为辅，上方关注1718-1722USD resistance, follow below1700-1705USD support.
