FTSE100指数又称伦敦金融时报100index(Financial Times Stock Exchange 100 Index，简写为FTSE 100 Index)，创立于1984year1month3日，是在伦敦证券交易所上市的最大的100家公司的股票指数。其成分股涵盖欧洲大陆9个主要国家，以英国企业为主，其它国家包括德国、法国、意大利、芬兰、瑞士、瑞典、荷兰及西班牙。该指数是英国经济的晴雨表，也是欧洲最重要的股票指数之一。相关的股票指数包括金融时报250index(except100家最大的公司以外接下去的250家最大的公司的股票指数)和金融时报350index(Financial Times100指数和金融时报250指数的结合)。
