在初期，为了让投资者加大资金，他们会非常小心谨慎，尽可能的稳妥一些，有利润就跑。然后利用群以及直播间里面的托，来哄托出一种盈利氛围，并且会利用“战队”、“军团”做为噱头，以小团体的方式来让投资者入更多的资金。等到资金入得差不多的时候，就会开始谋划着一次重仓（带杠杆市场，三成仓及以上，全部叫重仓）的机会，让投资者严重亏损。
亏损之后，会利用一些类似（身体不好，系统维护升级，现在专心带做其他产品，管不了群等）的理由来解散群以及关闭直播间。
