对于美加贸易谈判的结果，在周哲金看来，从两方面可以看出此次谈判有望取得积极进展。第一点是川普的态度，前几天川普的态度很强硬，但这次他对协定谈判的评价异常乐观，尤其是他说“将在未来2-3天出结果”，可以看出谈判应该是有所成效的。第二点就是加拿大外长弗里兰在离开数小时后重返美国贸易代表办公室，这很可能表明美国方面态度软化，提供新条件。尽管这些条件对于加拿大来说可能不够，但美国已经清楚红线在哪儿，必然会作出妥协，这将给明日的加元提供良好支撑。在周哲金看来，目前盘间行情时时变化具体操作策略以周哲金实盘为准！中美双方没有进一步谈判的计划。上次美方邀请我国会谈，但是结果却是不欢而散。周哲金认为美方是一定要占据有利己方的条件才肯罢休，但是我国也不是吃素的，美方对我国征关税，我国也对美方征关税，由于我国对美国的进口远少于出口，所以不管美方出什么招，我国是不会吃亏的。不过这样就会动摇全球市场，导致美元成为避险首选，从而压制黄金。
