This Thursday20:00， 英国央行将公布开年首个利率决议结果，市场普遍预期其将维持5.25%的基准利率不变，本次决议没有央行行长贝利的新闻发布会。英国央行预期维持基准利率不变的原因与美联储一致：宏观经济正强劲增长，没有明显的衰退迹象，降息的理由不够充分。不过，英国的宏观经济数据表现不及美国健康，比如英国的通胀率为4%，高出美国0.6个百分点，距离2%的温和通胀标准仍有不小距离；英国的失业率为4.2%，高出美国0.5个百分点，但仍低于5%的充分就业标准线。从经济数据表现看，如果今年英国和美国的央行都会降息的话，英国率先降息的可能性更大。
